I'd like to bring up the suggestion of turning on proximity talk. As soon as more than about 8 people get on the server, the all-talk channel is clogged with everyone trying to carry on their own conversation.
Proximity talk seems to be more conducive to a RP mode as well. I know there were some concerns about people not being able to call admins, but honestly do you like hearing most people whining over all-talk for frivolous admin requests? This is what a /Admin chat channel should be used for.
Someone also told me it caused too much "drama." Well... to a certain degree, isn't a bit of drama part of RP? Also, using proximity talk might actually make people want to use the /call command if they want to voice-chat with someone they aren't close to.
Anyway, I hope you guys consider again trying proximity talk. Thanks.
