Battlefield 3 needs new O/S now???

Just tired to install BF3 again, and it gave me this error...
It seems they want me to run Windows 8 Beta or something now.


"Operating System Unsupported. You need to upgrade to a newer version of Windows to play Battlefield 3."

Its all because of Origin...and segregating friends into lists is just wrong.
